DD Ranch Spring Tours

Dear Teachers,

The DD Ranch is now scheduling Spring Tours. Our Spring Tours can be included as part of your Science Curriculum programs in your classrooms. The Duggan family would like to invite you out to the ranch for a hayride to the main body of our nature trail. At the trail, we will be taking a nature walk along the backside of one of our many ponds. Here we have found a large variety of birds, animals and natural plants to observe and learn about. Our Spring Tours can be tied into our harvest season and Pumpkin Patch in the Fall as well. Reserve a date now for a great ranch learning experience that will include a hay ride on the nature trail, petting zoo, kids corral, juice and a small snack.

This is the perfect opportunity to incorporate nature, planting, and fun into your teaching curriculum. We are located at the foot of Smith Rock, just 3 miles east of highway 97 in Terrebonne at 3836 NE Smith Rock Way. We are taking reservations for every weekday during the months of April, May and June. Tours will be offered every two hours. Starting at 9:30 a.m. 11:30 a.m. and the last tour being at 1:30 p.m. There is a 10 person minimum for group tours. We only take one group at a time so please reserve early. Tours will begin Monday, April 2nd.

Tour price is $6.00 per person. The $6.00 will include the hayride to the nature trail, nature walk around the pond, petting zoo, kids corral, juice and a small snack. This charge will apply to any students and sibling. Teachers and volunteers are free. You are also welcome to bring lunch and eat in one of our eating areas during your visit to our ranch.

Please give us a call early for the best time selection. Call Stephanie McCulley, Tour Coordinator, at 541-505-0029   between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. If you must cancel your reservations please be considerate of other groups and give us a 24-hour notice. We have our barn and Country Store to offer shelter to tours on rainy days.

You can also visit our web site at www.ddranch.net. We are looking forward to seeing all of you at DD Ranch for a great spring tour learning experience and a clean fun adventure. You can also find us on the web at www.ddranch.net

Sincerely,

Mike and Diann Duggan
