ENJOY YOUR COUNTRY WEDDING AT DD RANCH

Venue Description:  DD Ranch is a 200 acre, family owned, working cattle ranch in Terrebonne, Oregon. We operate approximately 400 acres in total. We are located 2 miles from Smith Rock State Park.  Our primary business is grass fed beef.  We also offer heritage pork and grass fed lamb, raw local honey, eggs and pumpkins.  We host weddings, corporate events and a month long Pumpkin Patch in October.

As a wedding guest, you will enjoy beautiful scenery of the Smith Rock area. You may choose to get married in front of the dock by our pond or in the grass facing Smith Rock. Receptions take place in front of the barn surrounding the dance floor and lighting set up.

Please note there is a 10:00 PM noise ordinance in Deschutes County, and Music must be shut off at that time.  Guests may still linger to mingle after that time.

We have numerous picnic tables and bistro tables for your use.  You are welcome to use the rustic farm décor from our barn. We have other miscellaneous decorations such as cupcake stands, votive candles, burlap wrapped mason jars, burlap table runners and wooden rounds.

Your guests will have the opportunity to visit the animals in our petting zoo, play in our huge playground and tour the other animal corrals.

Hog Roast – We offer the roasting of one of our heritage breed hogs for the dinner.  We slow cook the hog on an outdoor rotisserie which will be carved and plattered for your reception.  We will do our best to size the hog to your guest list with a minimum of 125.

Hay Ride – take a ride out to see our cows, hand feed them and learn about our ranch operations.  10 person minimum.

Bathrooms – we will provide you with 3 porta potties, 1 outhouse, and 1 double handwashing station

Flowers, caterers, photographers, etc. – feel free to choose your own

Time: Friday – 3-4 hours for set up and walk through rehearsal, Saturday – all day, Sunday – clean up by early afternoon

  • 110 taupe metal folding chairs/100 white plastic folding chairs
  • Lighting strung out to wine barrels in front of barn (setup included) – you may choose to do your own lighting in addition to this as well
  • Straw bale seating for wedding and/or reception up to 160 people – 2 persons per bale recommended – current drought may make straw bales unavailable
  • Dance floor
  • Two mobile bars
  • Photo booth frame
  • Rustic barn doors

We have 3 tents available for rental.  (Two 10×30 white tents and one 16×32 )
